YOGA WITH RESISTANCE
There is a tendency in yoga to want to stretch to end range in the full expression of the poses which can lead to instability. This often manifests as pain and perceived tightness and the misconception that stretching more will fix the problem. By adding resistance and feedback, while working in a safe range, this class leads to a balance between flexibility, strength and motor control. The Body Loop is a resistance band designed by Diane and will be used periodically throughout the class.
When: A weekly drop in class Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 PM
